Biographical Sketch: David Sterrett Pindell was a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University who later worked as an engineer. He was born in Baltimore in 1875. He received both his B.A. (1895) and PAE (Proficiency in Applied Electricity, 1897) from The Johns Hopkins University. He left Baltimore after graduating, going first to Chicago and then White Plains, New York, where he worked as a consulting engineer.
